Description
This is an incredibly lightweight shelter, designed for serious play: those aiming to go further and faster. It’s a tranquil solo tent or a haven for a weather-beaten group. The fly and guy lines weigh a tidy 280g whilst a minimum weight of 370g includes walking pole converter and 5 DAC J-stake pegs.
The 2Midable has steep walls, giving excellent internal space and reducing condensation. Four guy lines improve stability in windy conditions, and you can add the comfort of an optional Mesh Inner. A central DAC telescopic pole and twelve J-Stakes are included.
Dyneema has a remarkable strength-to-weight ratio that makes it the strongest fibre in the world. When developed into Dyneema composite fabric, it is a deft balance of ultra-lightweight, strength and water resistance, weighing in at a scant 12gsm. When constructed into fabric, Dyneema fibre is laid out in opposing grid orientations, sandwiched between thin, flexible outer layers of polyester film, and melded together at high-pressure.
This 280g fly (fly only) is made from a Dyneema composite fabric with factory-welded seams and reinforcing in key area.
