This hard duty backpacking boot is designed to survive tough weather conditions and steep and rocky terrain, all while keeping you
protected from rocks and scree with its high alpine rand.

Built for 3-4 season performance, the Highcountry Evo features a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex membrane to keep you dry as well as a LOWA patented X lacing stud to hold the tongue in place. Carry a pack weight of over 25kgs with the stability and support offered by these boots and test your limits.

  • Nubuck Leather Upper – Robust and durable to extend the life of your boots. It’s also open pored for breathability while remaining fully waterproof
  • Gore-Tex Lining – Allows for moisture and sweat to escape while preventing water from entering from the outside, keeping you cool and dry
  • C4 Tongue – Reduces pressure on the instep to prevent hotspots and blisters while allowing for improved flex and comfort
  • X-Lacing Stud – Reduces tongue movement and prevents pressure and hot spots which could lead to blisters
  • Flexfit – Allows the foot to roll forward thus saving you strength when going uphill. Also provides for some rotation in an otherwise stiff boot for natural walking comfort
  • Roller Eyelets – Allow for quick, easy and smooth lacing with minimal friction
  • I-Lock System – Allows for extra room in the instep area for a snug fit for all day comfort
  • Nylon Stabilizers – Provides total underfoot support for rough and uneven terrain so you can stay stable on off trail or rocky adventures
  • Polyurethane (PU) Midsole – PU midsoles do not deform under heavy packloads so you can carry more without compromising weight and flexibility
  • SPS System – Optimises foot stability to provide added comfort when walking. This system corrects gait by reducing pronation and supination (feet rolling inwards or outwards)
  • Vibram Masai Outsole – Experience excellent grip on all surfaces thanks to this self cleaning mountaineering tread so you can take on rocky and uneven terrain with confidence
